How to Mount ISO in Windows 8/8.1 Without Any Software

Out of the many unbeaten and popular features of windows 8/8.1, an important feature is the built-in ability of windows 8 to mount and open ISO images so that you don’t have to install some other software for this purpose.
Using ISO images has become very common these days as most of the software and games are available online in the form of ISO images which need to be mounted in order to open them. Previously we needed to install some software such as PowerISO, UltraISO, Daemon Tools or others in order to create a virtual drive so that the image can be mounted and opened.

How to Mount ISO:
The awesome feature of windows 8/8. allows you to mount any ISO with simple clicks. All you need to do is to double click the ISO and it will open. Not only this but you will see that a virtual drive will be automatically created in your “My Computer” so that you can use it the way you want.

Not that not only this, but you can also mount as many ISO’s as you want at the same time. All you need to do is to simply keep on double clicking the ISO files and they will start mounting in your computer so that you can use multiple images at the same time without any issue of number of virtual drive.
I have mounted multiple images and likewise virtual drives are automatically created:

Along with the easiness of muting ISO’s without any external software, another feature that this tool
provides is that the virtual drives automatically vanish from your drives list so that your list does not mess up even if you need multiple images at some time or only one at other. You don’t have to worry about creating or removing extra virtual drives.
