How to Shuffle Wallpapers in Windows 7/8/8.1

Just like the previous versions of Windows, the automatic cycling of wallpapers can be done in Windows 7/8/8.1 as well. All you need to do is to place your wallpapers in one folder and place it somewhere safe so that you may not rename it or delete it by accident.
To make wallpapers change automatically in Windows 8, follow these steps.
Step 1: Right click on your desktop an choose Personalize

Step 2: In the personalization window, click on Desktop Background.

Step 3: In the desktop background window, click on Browse button to locate the directory where your wallpapers are located. After that, click on Select All  button and all the wallpapers in that directory will be selected.
At the bottom of the window, you will find option to shuffle wallpapers. Check the Shuffle option and set the time after which you want to change the wallpaper.

One drawback with this method is that you have to place all your wallpapers in one directory i.e. if your root directory has sub-folders with other wallpapers in them,  windows will not index those wallpapers. So you have to place all your images in one folder to cycle them all.
Also this feature might utilise a bit more from your laptop battery, so if you want to have more time with your machine while AC power is not available, you can check the option to pause this slide show on battery power.
